Cincinnati Reds All-Star Joey Votto was leading the National League in doubles walks and on base percentage when he was sidelined with knee surgery. After missing almost two months Votto came back in time for the last month of the season and continued where he left off as the Reds took the NL Central. Despite the Reds 3 games to 2 loss to the Giants in the Division Series Votto batted .389 in the series scoring three runs. This Cincinnati Reds road jersey was worn by Votto in Game Two of the 2012 Division Series against the Giants when the Reds prevailed by a 9-0 tally. The jersey shows good game use but is otherwise largely problem-free and in as-issued condition. Majestic Authentic Collection Size 52 tagging appears on the front tail above "Property of Cincinnati Reds" below and much smaller "Cool Base" Majestic tag at the seam. Front proclaims CINCINNATI in red white and black tackle twill and Vottos number 19 sits directly below on the right side. The famous Reds wishbone C logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve above the embroidered Majestic patch. The iconic Major League Baseball logo patch appears on the back of the collar. The back has VOTTO and No. 19 which he has signed in black marker adding the inscription 12 Playoff GU. MLB and PSA/DNA numbered stickers have been affixed to the number as well. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Major League Baseball.
