After 20 sensational seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers the great Kobe Bryant decided to hang ‘em up. But not before dropping 60 in his final career game a vintage “Black Mamba” performance. Perhaps the last season Kobe was physically capable of playing like that consistently was 2012-13. In 78 games that year he averaged 27.3 points 6 assists and 5.6 rebounds earning First Team All-NBA honors and leading the 45-37 Lakers to the playoffs—the last time he would do either. In the 80th game however Kobe ruptured his Achilles to put an end to his season and any chance of another Lakers' title run.

From essentially the last season that Kobe was Kobe comes this special game worn road jersey photo-matched by the experts at Resolution Photomatching to three outstanding individual performances in which Bryant scored a combined 112 points! First on Dec. 22 2012 at Golden State Kobe had 34 points 10 rebounds and five assists in the Lakers’ 118-115 overtime victory over the Warriors. Next on Dec. 26 at Denver Kobe went for 40 points (13-24 FG’s) and six assists in a loss to the Nuggets. Then on Jan. 4 2013 against the L.A. Clippers at Staples Center Bryant put up 38 points (15-25 FG’s) with five steals in a close defeat. The highlight of that game was Kobe’s spectacular posterization of Chris Paul in the 1st quarter (see video below).

Photo-matching expert Resolution Photomatching has identified several areas of the jersey to confirm a conclusive match to each of the three games (Getty 158884217 158737433 and 158991083). The most obvious identifier is a 4” crease on the front. Side by side photo-matching images are included. With such a resumé this Kobe gamer is certainly one of the most impressive examples ever offered publicly.
