The stellar 2015 season produced by Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson earned him the American League Most Valuable Player Award. Donaldson hit .297 in 158 games with 122 runs 184 hits 41 doubles 41 home runs 123 RBI a .371 on-base average and a .568 slugging percentage. Donaldson led the American League in runs RBI total bases and game-winning RBI (20) while helping the Blue Jays win the uber-competitive AL East division.
The production date stamped on the knob "3/8/2011" indicates the bat was used by Donaldson in preparation for his first full MLB season in 2012 with the Oakland As and may very well have been carried into that rookie campaign. The 35 inch 32 ounce Louisville Slugger Professional Model D203 bat is signed by Donaldson on the barrel in 8-9/10 silver paint pen. The black bat is uncracked and displays solid game use including an awesome contact mark with ball stitch impressions right beneath his autograph. It has bat rack streaks as well. On the handle is a moderate coat of Mota stick. Terrific gamer from one of the game's biggest stars today.
