In 2011 the Dallas Mavericks shocked the basketball world with an NBA Finals victory over the favored Miami Heat and their duo of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
Mavs guard Jason "The Jet" Terry was at his best in the biggest moments, scoring 21 in pivotal game 5, and then leading all scorers with 27 points in the Game 6 clincher. Terry earned his NBA championship ring, a nice pairing with his 1997 NCAA championship with the University of Arizona.
This stunning "B" level ring was issued to Terry in addition to his player's ring to give to friends and family for his essential role in delivering the first NBA Championship in franchise history for Mark Cuban's Mavericks. Jason was more than just a sidekick to Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki, as he averaged 18 points per game for the series and his leadership, confidence and clutch play was just what Dallas needed.
This ring features team logo is constructed of real diamonds with sapphires on the ring face, sandwiched between bold text reporting, "World Champions." Thirty-one of these diamonds surround the Mavs logo to mark the years that the team was in existence.
The left shank identifies Terry by surname and a blue basketball with the "M" logo of the team. The right shank features the team name Dallas Mavericks, a diamond-studded Larry O'Brien Trophy and the text, "The Time Is Now."
The size twelve (12) band is stamped, "Josten's 14K." Condition is virtually pristine, although missing two small diamonds. The ring weighs 76 grams.
