Featured here is an official tournament-issued pin flag from the 2011 Chevron World Challenge signed by the winner and host of the tournament Tiger Woods. The World Challenge (now sponsored by Hero MotoCorp) is an annual tournament hosted by Tiger Woods to benefit his foundation. It takes place in December and is not an official PGA Tour event. The 18-player field includes the most recent winners of the four majors the top 11 available from the Official World Golf Ranking the defending champion and two special exemptions. From 2000 to 2013 the tournament was held at Sherwood Country Club a course designed by Jack Nicklaus in Thousand Oaks CA. It has since moved to Florida. Woods shot 10-under to win the 2011 event by one stroke over Zach Johnson. Other notables in the small field were Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler. The yellow flag measures 20" by 13" and has the Chevron World Challenge PGA Tour and Tiger Woods Foundation logos. Woods has autographed and personalized the upper left with "To Chris Mitchell [consignor] + Alex Mitchell" in 9/10 black marker.
Comes with a letter of authenticity from the former World Challenge tournament director and current Director of Golf at Sherwood Country Club.
