Albert Pujols Marucci 2011 model number AP5-M professional model maple bat with a cupped end is un-cracked and measures 34 inches with a weight of 32. ounces. It shows evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the back barrel. Ball marks include white leather scuffs. Cleat marks are visible on the right left and back barrel. Also visible on the bat is an impression from a weighted batting donut and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since January 2009. The date of manufacture (8/23/11) Pujols' number (5) length (4) and weight (1.8) are stamped into the knob. An Albert Pujols signature his number '5' and the added inscription 'Game Used' is on the front barrel in gold marker. The autograph has been authenticated by MLB Authentication Services and their hologram (FJ870524) is affixed to the front barrel. An Albert Pujols hologram (01036) is also affixed to the front barrel.
