featured here is a 2010 Vancouver Olympics torch used in the 45000 km flame relay across Canada. Designed and manufactured by Bombardier in collaboration with the Vancouver Organizing Committee the white and silver colored torch has grooved lines running down its entirety to reflect the lines left behind in snow and ice from winter sports. The 2010 Vancouver Olympics logo in the form of a colorful stick figure with "Vancouver 2010" and the five Olympic rings in blue adorn each side of the shaft. A maple leaf on the back serves as an air intake hole to ensure the Olympic flame burns brightly. The 2010 Winter Games motto With Glowing Hearts / Des Plus Brillants Exploits is engraved on the silver section opposite where the flame burns. Made of a stainless steel and aluminum sheet molding compound the torch measures 37 inches (94 cm) and weighs around 2 lbs. Shows light use and presents NM-MT. Comes with its original protective bag. Two other nice additions to this lot are an official relay diploma and an official torch relay full uniform (size XL warm-up jacket and matching pants) making it a nice complete set for one's Olympic collection.
