After two outstanding seasons at USC wide receiver Mike Williams was expected to be a leading Heisman candidate in 2004. Instead he left school after his Sophomore year and declared for the NFL draft a fateful decision that would force him to sit out a year when the Maurice Clarett federal ruling - allowing players less than three years removed from high school to be draft eligible - was reversed. What might have been for Mike Williams who was an unstoppable force in college and helped lead the Trojans to the National Championship in 2003. Featured here is his game-worn home Seattle Seahawks jersey from the 2010 season when he was reunited with his college coach Pete Carroll.

Williams' number "17" appears on the front back and shoulders of the jersey in white-on-black tackle twill. Reebok and Seahawks logo patches are stitched onto both sleeves with the NFL Equipment logo patch at the front of the V-neck. The sleeves and the bottom are tailored with elastic hem. The inner collar of the fitted mesh jersey features two white strip tags that read 09-44 and S indicating the year issued (Williams wore in 2010) and size. A Seahawks team shop bar code also appears on the inner collar. SEAHAWKS is stitched in white below the neck of the jersey and "WILLIAMS" appears across the back in white tackle twill on a blue nameplate. The jersey exhibits excellent game use with a couple white paint transfers and a team repair on the back pilling and fraying throughout as well as dark spots on the front numbers from other contact. There's also a strong stench of sweat and body odor to make it even more authentic.
