At the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, Kaká wore the most iconic number for Brazil as the team’s attacking midfielder and creative fulcrum. This match worn jersey from that tournament, bearing the Kaká name and #10 on the reverse, was sourced from the Brazil National Team kitman.
Born Ricardo Izecson dos Santos, Kaká is one of just nine decorated footballers to have won the World Cup, UEFA Champions League, and Ballon d'Or for club and country. A member of Brazil's 2002 World Cup squad at 20 years old, he played a much more prominent role for Seleção in the 2006 and 2010 tournaments as part of the “magic quartet” with Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Adriano. Capped 92 times for Brazil (2002-16), his club runs with AC Milan and Real Madrid made him an elite player in Europe from 2003 to 2014.
The yellow Brazil jersey has the Brazil Football Confederation (“CBF”) shield crest embossed into the left chest, flanked by “BRASIL” in green and five green stars representing Brazil's five World Cup titles. “KAKÀ” is pressed on the upper back above his number "10" in green. On the right sleeve is the ever-important 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa logo patch. The Nike jersey made in Brazil comes in size XL with the apparel giant’s Swoosh on the right chest and the “Nike Authentic” serial-numbered black label on the left tail. The wash instructions are embossed into the fabric (instead of using white hang tags like retail models) inside the left lower inseam.
