Beautiful Derek Jeter game used jersey from the 2010 season with some very significant memorial patches that truly give it special meaning. The Captains pinstripes bear a MLB hologram that pinpoint it's usage as September 8 2010 (a 3-2 Yankees win at the Stadium) though it almost certainly saw service in additional games prior. The jerseys impeccable presentation is enhanced by a blue Sharpie Jeter 8/10 blue felt tip pen autograph directly beneath the iconic "NY" Yankees logo and Jeter's added inscription "2010 Game Used." Majestic Authentic tag on the lower front tail with attached smaller tags of "2010" and "48." Most significantly the jersey boasts the George Steinbrenner III "GMS" black memorial patch above the Yankees logo on the front and the black memorial armband on the left sleeve as well as the Bob Sheppard "The Voice of Yankee Stadium" memorial patch also on the left sleeve. Legendary Yankees boss George Steinbrenner passed away within a few weeks of Jeter wearing this jersey. On July 16th Jeter delivered a tearful tribute to his beloved former boss during a ceremony at Yankee Stadium honoring Steinbrenner. No doubt Jeter still bore a heavy heart as he took the field in these pinstripes that Steinbrenner had worked so hard to distinguish as the hallmark of greatness. Legendary PA announcer Bob Sheppard died on July 11 2010. Derek Jeter had such a connection with him that he still uses an audio recording of Sheppard announcing his name every time he steps to the plate at the Stadium. Even as Jeter stepped into the batter's box at Minnesota's Target Field to lead off the 2104 All-Star Game (Jeters last) Sheppard's voice was there to greet him.

Includes an LOA from Steiner Sports. MLB Game Used Hologram #FJ 102852. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
