Ronaldo Luìs Nazàrio de Lima, known simply as Ronaldo, is widely considered the greatest pure striker ever. The longtime Brazilian national teamer (1994-2011) nicknamed “O Fenômeno” (The Phenomenon) and “R9” earned FIFA World Player of the Year honors three times and twice won the coveted Ballon d’Or trophy (1997 & 2002). His storied tenures with clubs PSV Eindhoven, FC Barcelona, Inter Milan and Real Madrid (“Galácticos” era) earned him several tournament MVPs and Golden Boot awards, cementing his status among the all-time greats. The clinical finisher is Brazil's second all-time leading scorer behind Pelé with 62 goals in 98 caps for Seleção. In a career full of highlights, Ronaldo's finest hour came in the 2002 FIFA World Cup Final against Germany when his second half brace led Brazil to a 2-0 victory and their record fifth world title.

After a short stint with AC Milan in 2007-08, Ronaldo returned to his homeland to play for Sport Club Corinthians Paulista in São Paolo (2009-11) where he finished his lengthy club career. Offered here is a 2010-11 Ronaldo Corinthians match worn jersey from his final professional season at age 34. The white short-sleeved shirt with a black collar has Nike Dri-Fit tagging inside the neck (size not legible due to faded yellow font). The Corinthians team crest is on the left chest with a black Nike Swoosh logo on the right chest. Kit sponsor “Neo Química” (Brazilian pharmaceutical company) appears front and back in large black lettering. Club sponsor “Boazzano” (Brazilian hygiene brand) appears on each sleeve in red letters. Ronaldo’s iconic No. "9" is on the reverse with “RONALDO" just below, both in black. Club sponsor "Avanco" (copper mining company) is labeled on each side below the armpits where the shirt is designed with breathable air holes. "Corinthians" is labeled in small black lettering on the rear outer neck. The shirt exhibits strong evidence of game use with pilling, puckering, a few scattered soil stains and an aroma of perspiration still present.

Four of Ronaldo’s Corinthian teammates – Elias, Alessandro, Ralf, and Liédson – have signed the jersey in faint black marker. The autographs are so faded (perhaps due to the shirt being sweaty when they signed) that they most likely will be deemed inconclusive by a third-party authenticator.
