From the third-leading scorer in NBA history and one of the most exhilarating players ever comes this Kobe Bryant game-worn home shooting shirt resplendent in the iconic Los Angeles Lakers purple and gold. After retiring with a 33643 career points 18 All-Star appearances five NBA titles two scoring titles and a league MVP award Kobe now has only to await the call of Springfield for his date with NBA immortality. In 2010-11 when he donned this shirt in pre-game shoot-arounds the “Black Mamba” started all 82 games for L.A. averaging 25.3 points 5.1 rebound and 4.7 assists for the 57-25 Lakers who were knocked out in the playoffs by the eventual NBA champion Dallas Mavericks.
The Adidas Clima Cool long-sleeve shooting shirt has "LAKERS" across the chest in purple-on-white tackle twill affixed directly to the gold 100% polyester fabric. Three white stripes line the purple mesh sections on each arm running down to the lower forearm where the stripes alternate to purple on the gold sleeve ends. The appropriate Adidas CLIMA 365 and NBA Authentics labeling appears inside the rear collar with the “Made in Thailand 2XT” flag tag crumpled from being laundered and torn in half. The front left tail has a second set of Adidas manufacturer’s tagging with Size 2XT and his famed No. “24” penned in black (perhaps by the team equip. manager) on the Player ID panel. Inside the left inseam is a washing instructions tag along with a “07/10” manufacturing date tag. The reverse of the shirt is gold-colored with a shiny chain-linked design; the NBA embroidered logo patch is sewn directly on the purple mesh section across the upper back.
The shirt displays solid game wear including a 3/4-inch snag on the front midsection that can be photo-matched (Getty 107320508) to the Laker’s 113-80 blowout victory over the Sacramento Kings on December 3 2010 at Staples Center. Kobe scored 22 points in 26 minutes of action that night.
