Joshua Smith wore this jersey during his freshman season in a first-round loss to Michigan State in the 2011 NCAA Tournament. The 6'10" 350+ lbs. behemoth played for the Bruins for two years before transferring to Georgetown in 2013 where he has been a starter and go-to inside scoring presence guiding them to the tournament in 2015. He possesses amazingly quick feet for a guy his size. At UCLA Smith was one of the top freshman players in the Pac-10 Conference.
This rather imposing jersey boasts "UCLA" across the chest in a two-tone textured blue the same fashion used for his No. 34 front and back. "Smith" appears in blue lettering across the back. An adidas Size 5XL tag appears at the front tail with attached "+4 inches" flag tag; a wash instructions tag is at the inside of the front tail. Shirt has knitted elastic blue and gold striping around the collar and arms; a tiny "5XL4" tag is affixed at the back of the collar. Three embroidered patches and the adidas logo are stacked on each side above "UCLA" two per shoulder: a blue NCAA patch blue and gold Pac 10 patch and a white gold and black "JRW" memorial patch noting the passing of legendary Bruin coach John Wooden who died in 2010 at age 99. Smith has added a black Sharpie autograph below his number on the front adding a "MSU vs. UCLA - 2011 NCAA Tourney" inscription. Shows light to moderate game use.
