The offered black Louisville Slugger Alex Rodriguez signature model bat has the distinction of being used by Arod to smash his 560th career home on May 23, 2009. And home run #560 was no ordinary clout. Rodriguez’s two-run blast came in the bottom of the ninth off Phillies closer Brad Lidge to tie the game. A Melky Cabrera game winning single two batters later would earn the Yankees a 5-4 walk-off victory. The bat shows extensive use throughout, remaining uncracked. Arod has recorded his feat on the barrel in bold silver sharpie with an inscription that reads “Alex Rodriguez Game Used 5/23/09 career HR #560 vs. Phillies off Lidge.†An important and fully documented home run bat from the man poised to make a run at the all-time career HR record. Includes a COA from Alex Rodriguez. An MLB Authentication hologram (#LH 198472) is affixed to the knob end. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (auto.).
