From the 2008 season this 35 inch 33.2 ounce Rawlings model 794A Chipper Jones professional model bat is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the left barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs on the left barrel. Cleat impressions can be seen on the right and back barrel. There is a heavy coat of pine tar on the lower handle and a light coat of pine tar on the center brand. The model number (794A) the length (292) and the year (08) are stamped into the knob. Jones' number (10) is written on the knob and top barrel in silver marker. Jones' name along with the inscription 'Game Used' is written on the front barrel in silver pen.
Provenance: The autograph has been authenticated by PSA/DNA Authentication Services and their sticker (4A62270) is affixed to the front barrel. This bat was purchased directly from Chipper Jones by KLF sports soon after Chipper retired following the 2012 baseball season. KLF sports was selected by Chipper to market his game used memorabilia.
