Offered here is a full uniform from Brandon Webb in his Cy Young runner-up season in 2008 with the Arizona Diamondbacks. After winning his first nine starts of the season Webb was leading the major leagues in wins and won his 13th game against the Nationals winning 2-0 before the All-Star break. Up to mid August Webb carried a 42 scoreless innings streak. Webb the 2007 Cy Young Award winner finished the 2008 season with a career high 22 wins and just 7 losses. Despite leading the National League in wins Webb finished second in the National League Cy Young voting to division rival Tim Lincecum. This attractive alternate jersey has Size 52 Majestic tagging at the front left tail with +1 Body flag tag; a white strip tag at the collar has 2008 025. Team name D-Backs appears across the front of the red mesh shirt in white-on-red-on-black tackle twill and his No. 17 appears on the back in black-on-white tackle twill and his name above in the opposite fashion affixed directly to the shirt. The iconic MLB logo appears at the back of the collar. The Diamondbacks 10th Anniversary patch is on the right sleeve and the clubs db logo patch on the left directly above the embroidered Majestic logo. Shirts shows light game use with modest puckering on the white tackle twill on D-Backs on the front. Pristine pants reveal light game use; Majestic Authentic tag appears at the back of the waist with adjacent 17 Webb 37-42 37 OB 08 on a white strip tag. Majestic embroidered logo patch appears on the back above the left pocket and the black and red striping runs down each leg.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Newport Sports Museum.
