Featured here is a Ryan Getzlaf Anaheim Ducks game-worn jersey from the 2008-09 season. A first round draft pick in 2003 the center out of Saskatchewan came into the league at the same time as Corey Perry and together they have been one of the most dynamic duos in the NHL. Getzlaf had his best statistical year to date with 91 points during the regular season and 18 points in 13 playoff games. He earned his 2nd All-Star appearance. He is currently the team captain and considered one of the toughest all-around players in the league.
The CCM size 58 white home jersey has the Anaheim Ducks patch sewn across the front with the Alternate Captain's "A". Getzlaf's #15 is stitched on both sleeves and on the back in black tackle twill with white and gold piping. 'GETZLAF' is stitched on back in the same format. There is also a Reebok logo patch sewn on the back above the letters. Tagging inside the hem reads "Anaheim Ducks 2008-2009 - Customized by SUBLISTITCH inc. - Head equipment manager Doug Shearer (w. facsimile autograph) SET #2". It shows solid wear with contact marks on the sleeves stretching in the neck and a stick gash on the right shoulder seem. Overall it comes essentially as-issued and problem-free. What an incredible offering for Ducks fans and hockey collectors alike!
