These days no player in the NBA stuffs the stat sheet like Russell Westbrook. The 6'3" 200-lb. point guard finished up another monster 2015-16 campaign with averages of 23.5 points 10.4 assists 7.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals including a league-best 18 triple doubles. This coming off a 2014-15 season in which he led the NBA in scoring at 28.1 points per game. He is arguably the most athletic and explosive player in the world and certainly the fastest baseline to baseline. Since exploding on the scene out of UCLA in 2008 T Westbrook has built quite a resume through eight seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder: 5-time All-Star 2015 All-Star Game MVP 2014-15 scoring champ and 2-time All-NBA First Team.
Presented here is Westbrook's 2007-08 UCLA Bruins white home jersey game-worn during his sophomore season including the 2008 NCAA tournament in which the #1 seeded Bruins earned their 3rd straight trip to the Final Four. Westbrook showed glimpses of his future superstardom averaging 12.7 points 4.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds as UCLS fell to Memphis in the National Semifinal at the Alamodome. The Adidas knit jersey with dri-fit inner lining comes in size 44 with the manufacturer's tagging sewn on the front tail. "UCLA" and Westbrook's No. "0" on the front along with his last name and number on the back are all done in blue tackle twill except for the "C" on the front in gold with blue trim which commemorates UCLA becoming the first university to win 100 National Championships in collegiate athletics. (The letter "C" stands for 100 in Roman numerals.) 2007-08 is the only season UCLA players wore this style. A blue NCAA logo patch is sewn on the left torso signifying that is was worn during the tourney. The shirttail has been custom cut and hemmed to Westbrook's liking. He has signed the front with "#0" inscribed in black marker. The shirt shows solid wear and was acquired through a UCLA Athletics fundraiser.
