O.J. Mayo was considered by several media outlets to be the best high school basketball player in the United States prior to attending college at the University of Southern California (USC) in 2007. Mayo played one season of college basketball for the USC Trojans. Although he earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors his success was clouded by revelations that he received improper benefits. Mayo entered the 2008 draft and was selected in the first round with the third overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves who traded him and three other players to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Kevin Love and three players. Now with the Milwaukee Bucks Mayos offensive firepower continues to blossom and the dynamic shooting guard appears primed to develop into one of the NBA's best at his position.
Mayos 2007-08 home white USC Trojans Nike game worn jersey is properly tagged throughout. It features an American flag patch on the upper left breast. The jersey shows moderate wear and comes with a LOA from USC.
