This black Mizuno professional model H42 bat was used by Robinson Cano during the 2006 ALDS vs. the Detroit Tigers. In only his second season the Yankees second baseman was already an All-Star and MVP contender. Ball stitch impressions cleat marks and grain swelling (from contact) are readily apparent on the hitting surface of the barrel. In addition to the H42 model number on the knob are stampings 86 and 10U. The bat remains uncracked with a moderate coat of Mota Stick on the handle. Cano has signed the barrel with his added notation Game Used 2006 ALDS in silver sharpie.
A hologram from Canos own memorabilia firm adorns the barrel. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (Auto.).
