Manny Ramirez will forever be remembered for Manny being Manny a description that evolved during his colorful years of service with the Boston Red Sox. This lot features Ramirezs game-worn and autographed 2006 Boston Red Sox home jersey. In this particular season Ramirez batted .321 with 35 home runs and 102 runs batted in. The front of the offered jersey reads RED SOX across the chest in red tackle twill outlined in navy blue. The left front tail shows the proper Authentic Collection Majestic manufacturers tag above a separate cloth sewn-on tag that reads 24 56 06 indicating the players uniform number jersey size and season. Red piping runs the length of the jersey front and wraps around the collar and both sleeves. The back of the jersey shows his uniform number 24 in large red tackle twill numbers outlined in navy blue. Ramirez has signed the back of the jersey above his number in black fine-point marker and added his number 24 after his signature. The official MLB logo patch appears on the outside of the rear collar. The jersey shows great game wear and includes multiple dirt stains on the front and back.
