"Sheff" as his teammates call him had an impressive career. Known for his bat speed and ability to "jump" on a pitch Gary Sheffield was a power hitter who could hit for average sporting a .292 career average along with 505 home runs. This 34-inch black Louisville Slugger Genuine C243 Gary Sheffield bat shows an elegant sufficiency of game use including multiple bat marks and an imposing crack that runs from near the center-brand labeling almost to the knob. Sheffield signed 8/10 in silver Sharpie and if additional provenance were needed precisely inscribed "Game Used 2006" alongside his autograph and added his own Sheff 11 hologram at the end of the barrel.
