Presented here is a Kakà 2006 FIFA World Cup jersey signed by nearly twenty members of the Brazilian National Team. Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leit better known as Kakà is in a rare class of football royalty as he remains one of just eight players in soccer history to have won the World Cup the UEFA Champions League and Ballon d'Or (FIFA's Player of the Year award) for club and country. He was a member of Brazil's 2002 World Cup Champions squad but played a much more prominent role for Seleção in the 2006 and 2010 tournaments as part of the “magic quartet” with fellow midfielder Ronaldinho and strikers Ronaldo and Adriano. At the 2006 World Cup in Germany Brazil fell to the eventual runners-up France in the Quarterfinals. His jersey was most likely match-issued/ready due to the light evidence of wear and lack of certainty regarding its use provided by our consignor.
This team-signed jersey is highlighted by autographs from Ronaldinho Cafu Roberto Carlos Dida Juninho Kakà Fred Adriano Leite Ribeiro Lucio Robinho Gilberto Silva and Juan Silveira Dos Santos. All autographs are in bold black sharpie and some have inscriptions. The yellow Brazil jersey has the Brazil Football Confederation (“CBF”) logo embossed into the left chest. “BRASIL” is stitched in yellow on the back of the collar and “KAKÀ” is pressed on the upper back above his iconic number "8" in green. On the right sleeve is the ever-important 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany logo patch. The XL Nike jersey is made in Brazil and has the five stars embossed into the inside of the back collar in yellow representing Brazil's five World Cup titles.
This shirt was sourced from a former Brazil National Team technical coordinator. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA (AG01572).
