Teemu Selnne aka "The Finnish Flash" broke into the NHL in 1992-93 with the Winnipeg Jets and played 22 marvelous seasons including 15 in Anaheim. Beloved to Ducks fans forever (his number 8 was retired last year) the left winger was a 10-time All-Star and had two long stints with the team first from 1995-96 to 2000-01 and later from 2005-06 until his retirement. He is the highest scoring Finn in NHL history and one of the highest overall finishing in 2013-14 ranked 11th all-time in goals (684) and 15th in points (1457). He holds numerous team scoring records for both the Winnipeg/Arizona and Anaheim franchises. Presented here is his 2006-07 game-worn home jersey from Anaheim's first and only Stanley Cup run which happened in their first season known simply as the Ducks. Teemu tallied 94 points during this monumental Ducks title season with 48 goals and 46 assists to pace the offense. He had 15 points in 21 games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs culminating in the Ducks taking out Ottawa in the finals 4 games to 1 for the Cup.
The black home jersey has the Anaheim Ducks crest patch sewn across the front with Selanne's white "A" patch to denoting him as Alternate Captain. His No. "8" is stitched on both sleeves and on the back in white tackle twill outlined in black and gold. "SELANNE" is stitched on the back in the same format. There is also a Reebok logo patch sewn on the back above the letters. CCM size 54 tagging appears inside the collar. A CCM/Maska laundry tag can be found inside the shirttail hem. The jersey is properly tagged and shows excellent game use with slash/contact marks on the front crest and "A" patches as well as the back number. The right sleeve has a small puncture near the end and a slash mark further up the arm from game action.
