The incomparable Vladimir Guerrero wore this Los Angeles Angels game-used road jersey in the 2005 season. For 16 major league seasons he was one of the most feared hitters and arguably the most exciting player to watch in the game a surefire Hall of Famer once the obligatory waiting period as been dealt with. For old-timers no other player in modern times would so remind them of the great Roberto Clemente the Hall of Famer who just like Guerrero could pluck a seemingly unhittable fastball off the top of his shoes and send it on its merry way. There was also much in Guerrero's terrific arm to remind older fans of Roberto as well. In 2004 he was voted the American League Most Valuable Player and helped lead the Angels to five AL West championships. A nine-time All Star he was widely recognized as one of the best all-around players in the game because of his impressive offensive production. On the left front tail is the "Majestic" manufacturer's tag and three attached flag tags: "50" indicating jersey size "Set 1 2005" and finally "+2 Body."ANGELS" is found in red on black on white tackle twill. On the front and back is player number "27" done in red on black tackle twill. On the back is player name "GUERRERO" also done in red on black tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Majestic" logo stitched in red. On the back of the neck is the official "MLB" logo patch. Shows game use with some small stains on the sleeve and some fraying and loss of fabric on some of the red trim on the sleeves though not so serious as to distract from the presentation.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from The Newport Sports Museum.
