The name Tim Salmon is synonymous with Angels excellence. Before there was Mike Trout, Salmon was the King Fish. The pinnacle of his career was winning the 2002 World Series with the Angels, but he batted .282 with 299 homers in his career.
Offered is a Salmon game used bat from the 2005 season. The Rawlings 288RJ professional model bat is uncracked and exhibits outstanding use. Numerous ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat marks are visible on all sides of the barrel. Also visible on the barrel is a ring from a weighted batting donut. The handle has a light coat of pine tar. The bat was graded by expert John Taube of PSA/DNA a perfect GU 10. It was also signed by Salmon in bold black Sharpie, and Beckett authenticated the autograph.
