In 2005 USC running back Reggie Bush was a unanimous first-team All-American and took home the Heisman Trophy. He led the nation with an average of 222.3 all-purpose yards per game. It was a perfect season for Bush until the Rose Bowl when Texas pulled off the upset to deny Bush and USC a 3rd straight National Title. Despite starting only 14 of 39 games over three years at USC Bush finished 10th in NCAA Division I-A history with 6541 all-purpose yards. Featured here is a rare opportunity to own a Reggie Bush USC game-worn home jersey from his electrifying Heisman winning season.
The red mesh/cadora Nike pullover with red epaulet shoulders features Bush's number "5" on the chest each sleeve and the back in yellow tackle twill. Each sleeve bears stretch knit sleeve cuffs. A yellow Nike "swoosh" adorns the left shoulder. An interlocking "SC" logo appears at the 'V' of the collar. A size "44" label appears on the left front tail with a small flag tag reading "S". The jersey is designed extra long with customized crotch and rear openings for comfort. Bush has signed the front numeral "5" in 8/10 black marker. Although laundered the jersey reveals solid wear with pilling in the stretchy epaulet sections fraying in the right shoulder a small tear in the right clavicle and several abrasive scratch marks on the front and back numerals. There is no clear photo-match but the style certainly matches 2005 game photos.
Includes Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum. Also comes with Letter of Authenticity from USC Athletic Department.
Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Reggie Bush COA hologram sticker on back number.
