In 2004, Vladimir Guerrero Sr. won the Most Valuable Player award in his first season in the American League with the Anaheim Angels. The Hall of Fame outfielder batted .337 with 39 home runs and 126 RBI, leading the AL in runs scored (124) and total bases. At age 29, the notorious bad-ball hitter with a cannon in right was a five-tool player who could do it all in his prime -- hit for average and power, swipe bags, and gun-down runners on the bases.

Offered here is a Louisville Slugger 'M110' professional model bat used by Vladdy during this lone 2004 MVP campaign. The un-cracked bat exhibits excellent game use with several ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel. There is a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle. His uniform number "27" is marked in silver on the knob end. Guerrero added his autograph and "27" in gold permanent marker to the back barrel.

John Taube of PSA/DNA has graded the bat GU 8.5. The autograph is also authenticated by PSA/DNA. This bat comes from the personal collection of Vladdy's former Angels teammate Brendan Donnelly, who has also provided a letter of provenance.
