The 34 inch 33.5 ounce X-Bat model 24 Miguel Cabrera professional model bat is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of light use. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on all sides of the barrel. There is a light coat of Mota stick on the handle. Cabrera's number (24) is written on the knob and top barrel in silver pen. Miggy wore #20 as a rookie in 2003 but changed to #24 in 2004. Although the labeling period of the bat covers 2003-05 we can narrow it to 2004-05 based on these markings. Tiger's weight code (x) is written on the knob and the weight (32.1) is written on the top barrel.
In 2005 his second full season with the Florida Marlins slugging third baseman Miguel Cabrera put up numbers remarkably similar to those he posted in 2004; knocking 33 home runs in each year with 112 RBI in 2004 and 116 RBI in 2005 with a .294 batting average in 2004 and a .323 average in 2005.
