In 2004 6' 11" Dwight Howard was selected first overall in the NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. Playing power forward he helped the2004-05 Magic to a third-place finished in the Southeast Division by averaging a double-double (12 points 10 boards) through all 82 regular-season games.
This lot features Howard's game-worn Orlando Magic home white jersey from his inaugural season. The size 52 Reebok jersey includes all proper tagging on the left front tail including both the NBA Authentics and Reebok Team Apparel manufacturer's tag accompanied by three separate flag tags reading "52" (size) "+4 LENGTH" and "2004-2005" to indicate the season. The jersey boasts "MAGIC" and Howard's uniform number "12" across the front in blue tackle twill outlined in silver and black. At the base of the v-neck is a specially designed silver star symbol outlined in black while the official NBA Logo man embroidered patch can be found nearby on the left shoulder. On the reverse side his last name "HOWARD" appears in semi-circular fashion in blue tackle twill across the shoulders while his uniform "12" is repeated in larger fashion just as it appears on the front. The jersey shows some game wear with only slight fraying of the letters on the front and back.
