In the late 1990s and early 2000s, there was no better closer in baseball than Mariano Rivera. When Metallica's "Enter Sandman" blared out across Yankee Stadium, it was time for Mo to lock down the ninth inning. And the Panamanian legend did it with utter dominance, helping the Yankees win five World Series and seven AL pennants from 1996 to 2009. During his nearly two full decades spent entirely in pinstripes, Rivera recorded 652 career saves (most all-time by a margin of 51). He was inducted into Cooperstown on the first ballot and was the last player to wear Jackie Robinson's #42 jersey.

This Nike pro model 'PPRO Gold MR42' pitcher'’s glove was used by the Yankees legendary closer during the 2003 season when he saved 40 games with a minuscule 1.66 ERA. The black leather glove displays light game use, with some scuffing on the webbing and minor wear in the pocket. The outside of the thumb has “Mariano Rivera” embroidered in white thread. His number “42” is embroidered in white on the back of the wrist alongside the Nike swoosh.

Rivera has added his lovely autograph on the outer index finger in bold 9.5/10 silver marker with "#42 Game Used" inscribed. The glove comes with a PSA/DNA LOA from glove experts Dennis Esken and John Taube. The autograph has been sticker certified by PSA/DNA (AP75770). An additional Steiner COA hologram is affixed.
