Here is a nifty pair of Angels home jerseys from two star players of the team's modern era Darin Erstad and Garret Anderson a spectacular matched set of vest-style shirts from 2003 (Erstad) and 2005 (Anderson). Three years after turning in one of the most remarkable seasons of the millennium (.355 batting average 240 hits and 121 runs scored) Erstad wore this 2003 vest-style button-front jersey. The shirt boasts Angels across the front in four-stacked red on blue white and silver tackle twill lettering. Verso is Erstad arched across the shoulders with his number 17 below. "Erstad" and his No. 17 front and back are in red-on-blue tackle twill. He has signed in black felt tip at the top of the 7 of his number on the back. Red trim appears on the armpits and collar; the famed Major League Baseball logo patch appears on the back in red white and blue embroidery. "Majestic" manufacturer's tag appears on the front left tail with three small flap tags attached beneath: "Set 1 203" a Size "48" and " + 1 Body." In an unusual bit of creative manicuring the bottom corners of the front of the shirt have been cut off by hand presumably a bit of custom tailoring from the Gold Glover known for occasionally crashing into the outfield wall. Not sure how cutting off the corners would ameliorate the impact of that just thought we'd mention it. Jersey shows light wear and is in all respects problem free and unaltered save only for that unusual custom tailoring mentioned above.

The second jersey in the same vest style is from Garret Anderson the Angels' franchise leader in games played at bats hits total bases singles doubles grand slams extra-base hits career RBIs single-game RBIs and consecutive games (12) with an RBI. The shirt is unsigned and has Angels across the front in the same four-stacked red on blue white and silver tackle twill lettering. Verso has Anderson arched across the shoulders with his number 16 below. "Anderson" and his No. 16 front and back are in red-on-blue tackle twill. Red trim appears on the armpits and collar; the Major League Baseball logo patch appears on the back in red white and blue embroidery and the embroidered Majestic logo is found on the left shoulder. "Majestic" manufacturer's tag appears on the front left tail with three small flap tags attached beneath: "Set 1 2005" a Size "50" and " + 2 Body." The jersey shows light wear and is in all respects problem free and unaltered save only for that unusual custom tailoring mentioned above.
