Offered here is a standout home jersey from one of the great third sackers of the modern era Scott Rolen a seven-time All-Star and eight-time Gold Glover who put up Cooperstown-worthy numbers in a 17-year career from 1996-2012. The jersey dates to either 2003 or 2004 – there are no sleeve patches – and shows light game use and is in superb overall condition. The 1997 Rookie of the Year turned in two of his finest campaigns those two seasons: batting .286 with 28 home runs and 104 RBI in 2003 and .314 and career highs in home runs (34) and RBI (124) the following season. The jersey has the iconic Cardinals “bat and bird” logo and scripted “Cardinals” across the front in red black and yellow chenille stitching. His No. 27 appears front and back in red and black tackle twill and his name appears in the same fashion on a white nameplate on the back directly beneath the MLB embroidered logo patch. Rolen’s autograph is on the “7” of his number on back in black Sharpie. A pink Majestic logo patch appears on the left sleeve and Majestic tagging with Size 50 flag tag appears on the left front tail.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Dave Miedema. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
