Featured here is a custom-made Jose Theodore Montreal Canadiens game-ready goalie mask. The art is the creation is the work of reputed equipment maker Michel Lefevre the same man who produced masks and pads for Patrick Roy. According to one comparable it is an early Lefevre second generation Theodore mask; that is the second style that Lefevre made for Jose in circa 2000. The artist signature on the bottom left reads '02. The lower part features the Canadiens logo and the facsimile skyline of Montreal while two pouncing dragon-like animals and a full moon are painted at the top where a CCM decal is applied. The back plate includes Jose's number "60" his "Theo" nickname a small animal with a number "33" and a Koho decal. The mask comes with a red-painted full cage but is missing its chinstrap. All interior fiber padding and cloth straps are intact as well. The mask does show light use with sweat-stained elastic straps but it looks to be more game-ready than game-worn. If Jose wore it at all it was probably in practice. Perhaps he didn't like the foam padding at the forehead becoming unstuck. The exterior paint job is simply amazing. What an incredible offering for Theodore and Canadiens fans and hockey collectors alike!
