After what will be 20 seasons in the Bronx the five-time World Series champion and 13-time All-Star will be calling it quits this coming September ... or maybe October. The Yankees' beloved Captain and all-time career leader in hits (3316) games played (2602) stolen bases (348) and at bats (10614) is sure to find a royal reception around the country during his final tour of duty. This classic 2001 home pinstriped New York Yankees jersey was worn by Jeter in what could be regarded as a fairly prototypical Jeter effort: .311 batting average 21 home runs 74 RBI's 110 runs scored and 27 stolen bases.
Jeter signed the front of the shirt immediately opposite the iconic interlocking NY logo. The Size 46 white jersey with navy pinstripes has all the appropriate Majestic tagging and hologram identifier from Steiner (though Steiner loa is absent) with size and fabric content and 2 inches Extra Length flag tags sewn below a Majestic Authentic tag at front shirttail. Jersey has the American League 100th anniversary patch sewn to the right sleeve and the iconic red white and blue MLB logo tag on the back of the collar area. Shirt displays light use and is in problem-free condition.
