Albert Pujol's rookie campaign in the majors was jump started by his phenomenal Spring Training success and was able to complete an unforgettable inagural campaign. Pujols was inserted into the lineup when other starters were on the DL and Pujols made the most of those moments and never looked back. Featured here isa Rawlings size 48 home white jersey worn by the future Hall of Fame shoe in. Moderate use is visible on the two color tackle twill numbers, expecially the back digits which show some puckering. ON the reverse is an American flag worn by the team following the event of 9/11. A Rawlings manufacturer's tag includes two suspended labels in the tail: size (with a MEARS hologram) and "set 1 2001" flag label.
