Jason Kapono was the first player in UCLA history to earn First Team All-Pac-10 honors for four years and was also the first UCLA player to lead the team in scoring four straight years. Kapono began his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers who drafted him in the second round of the 2003 NBA Draft. He later played for the Charlotte Bobcats Miami Heat Toronto Raptors Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers. He is the only player in NBA history to have led the league in three-point field goal percentage in two consecutive seasons.
Kapono wore this handsome Bruin blue mesh road jersey during his junior 2001-02 season when he led the team in scoring at 16 points per game and helped the Bruins advance to the Sweet 16. "UCLA" across the front in white and gold and in the same fashion for his No. 24 front and back and his name on the back. It has the Adidas label on the front of the tail with "48" and "01" small flag tags attached. Gold and white elastic knit adorns the collar and arm openings; Kapono has added a blue Sharpie autograph on his number on the back along with his No. 24 inscription. Shows light to moderate game use. Includes LOA from California Sports Investments.
