Eminem took his disadvantaged upbringing on Detroit’s 8-Mile Road and turned it into a musical success story. This Type 1 photo captures the hip-hop star at the very height of his fame in 2000. Eminem had released “The Slim Shady LP” in 1999 and followed it up with 2000’s “The Marshall Mathers LP.” The two records were runaway hits and thrust Eminem to the forefront of the hip-hop movement and making him the best-selling music artist in the United States of the 2000s. In this Type 1 photo Eminem strikes a powerful pose on stage as unleashes one of his raps into the mic. The Type 1 image measures 4" x 6" and has been printed to its edges. The reverse of the photo has the Kelly A. Swift credit label and the Konica paper watermark. Encapsulated Type 1 by PSA/DNA.

Prior to bidding, please be aware of estimated shipping costs, especially for large or heavy lots. If you intend to pick up your items in person at the SCP Auctions office, please call us to schedule. Payment must clear prior to items being available for pick-up.
