Tim Hardaway enjoyed a fabulous NBA career that stretched 13 seasons and sent him to five All-Star games. From 1989-96 the 6-foot point guard out of UTEP quarterbacked the Golden State Warriors high-octane Run TMC offense alongside Hall of Famers Mitch Richmond and Chris Mullin. He took his killer-crossover (aka the UTEP Two Step) to Miami in 1996 and helped lead the Heat to the playoffs in each of his six seasons with the team. Featured here is a pair of his 2000-01 game-worn and dual-signed Nike sneakers. Timmy averaged 14.9 points and 6.3 assists per game that season below his career averages of 17.7 points and 8.2 assists.
The stylish size 12.5 Nike sneakers come in white and red leather with a silver section on the lower heel. They have a unique shock absorption design on the rear outsole with four rubber-like springs under the heel. Hardaway has signed on the outside of each shoe in shiny silver marker with his #10 inscribed. Light game use throughout most evident on the outsoles. The foot insert has been removed from the insole but the original laces remain. They come largely as-issued and problem-free. They were gifted to a Madison Square Garden security guard who made friends with many Knicks players and opponents.
Includes a faxed Letter of Provenance from a MSG security guard.
