Coming off of two incredible championship seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers were looking to keep their level of play at the standard that they were used to and go after another championship during the 2010-11 NBA campaign. With a starting lineup of Kobe, World Peace, Gasol, Bynum, and Fisher, it seemed that they had enough talent to make something special happen in what could be another potential three-peat opportunity.
Offered in this lot is a Derek Fisher game worn "Hardwood Classics" jersey from the February 13, 2011 matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic. A special "HWC NIGHTS" tagging is affixed above the normal Adidas jock tag on this example. The 3XL +4 length jersey remains in excellent condition. The front of the jersey reads "LAKERS" and "2". The rear reads "FISHER" and "2". This style of jersey replicates the style worn by the Lakers in their 1971-72 Championship Season. Fisher recorded 4 points, 4 assists, and 1 rebound in the 89-75 loss vs. Magic.
The jersey is accompanied by a full LOA from MeiGray for the game use authentication.
