1999 San Diego Padres road jersey game worn by Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn in the May 1 1999 game against the Chicago Cubs in which he made his 2964 career hit. "SAN DIEGO" in black white and orange sewn on front with "GWYNN" in black and "19" in black white and orange sewn on the back. Padres 30th Anniversary patch sewn on left sleeve. "Russell Athletic Diamond Authentic Collection Size 50" tag sewn on front lower left tail. "5/1/99 VS CHI #2964" and "#2964" in blue marker written on this tag. Gwynn has signed the number 1 on the back in 8/10 silver felt tip pen. Neatly stitched below the number on the back is "#2964 5-1-99 VS CHI". Jersey exhibits light use.
Includes COA signed by Tony's wife Alicia Gwynn.
