The 1999 New York Yankees managed by Joe Torre secured their second straight World Series title and their third championship in four years. They swept the National League Champion Atlanta Braves in the Fall Classic outscoring their opponents 21-9 over four games. This lot features a limited edition (11/99) New York Yankees home jersey (size 48) that has been autographed by Torre and 23 team members. The Russell Athletic pinstriped jersey is sporting the teams NY logo over the left breast and the 1999 World Series embroidered patch on the right sleeve. Notable signatures in blue fine-point marker on the jersey front include Derek Jeter Mariano Rivera Orlando Hernandez David Cone Roger Clemens and Paul ONeill.
