1999-2000 Boston Bruins road jersey game worn and signed by play making center Joe Thornton. Thornton had 23 goals and 37 assists for Boston during the 1999-2000 season. In 2005-06 the season he was traded to San Jose by the Bruins he won both the Art Ross(Top Point Scorer) and Hart Memorial(NHL Most Valuable Player) Awards. On the back of the white jersey Thornton has signed "Joe Thornton #19" in 9/10 looking black felt tip pen. Large Bruins logo patch in Black and gold sewn on the front. "19" in white with black and gold trim sewn on both sleeves along with Boston "Bruin" patches. "THORNTON" in black with gold trim sewn on nameplate on back along with large number "19" also in black and gold trim. CCM patch sewn at top of collar on back. Made in Canada tag sewn inside back collar. Fight strap sewn in back. NHL logo patch sewn in back of waist. Jersey display light to moderate game use.
The jersey is accompanied by a signed LOA from 12-year NHL player Ken Baumgartner who was teammates with Thornton with the Boston Bruins during the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons. Additional Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
