Offered here is the 1998 Wooden Classic NCAA game basketball, signed by the incomparable John Wooden and fellow head coaches Roy Williams (Kansas), Eddie Sutton (Oklahoma State), Steve Lavin (UCLA), and Lorenzo Romar (Pepperdine). Roy Williams—who would go on to win three national championships—adds enormous star power to this piece, while Eddie Sutton's Hall of Fame credentials and Lorenzo Romar's later success at Washington round out a tremendously talented panel of signatures. The Wooden Classic continued to grow in prestige through the late 1990s, and this ball captures a high point of the tournament's early identity.
