In 1998, Manny Ramirez began to show his power at the plate. He hit .294 with 45 home runs and 145 RBIs for Cleveland, beginning an 11-season stretch where he slugged 418 home runs and made the All-Star team every year. The 1998 Louisville Slugger T141 model bat is un-cracked and shows outstanding use. Many ball marks with stitch imprints and blue ink transfers are visible on the barrel. The lower handle and knob have been taped in a spiral pattern, and a moderate coat of pine tar has been applied to the upper handle and center brand. Manny’s number “24”, the model number, length, and weight are written on the top barrel in silver marker and on the knob in fading silver marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in contrasting silver ink and added his number “24.” The bat comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
