Great pair of jersey and pants from Garrison Hearst a two-time All-Pro running back for four NFL clubs over a 10-year career. His best season was 1998 with the 49ers when he rushed for 1570 yards and seven touchdowns and played earned a trip to the Pro Bowl in Feb. '99. He ran for 1000 yards or more in four different seasons three of those in San Francisco. He was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award in 2001. The 1998 jersey is a red mesh home gamer. Hearst's No. 20 appears in white gold and black tackle twill on the front back and shoulders. "Hearst" is done in black and white tackle twill on a red nameplate on the back; the embroidered Reebok logo appears on each sleeve. The iconic NFL shield logo at the bottom of the neck. A Size 44 Reebok tag is featured on the collar with "100 % Nylon" attached small flag tag. Shirt has 49ers logo and white and black stripes screened on each sleeve. A Reebok Pro Line 1998 tag appears at the front of the tail. Hearst has signed his number on the back in black Sharpie adding inscriptions of his No. 20 and "Pro Bowl 99." There are alterations including custom cut and hemmed sleeves as well as spandex inserts on sides. Light to moderate wear.
The 1997 pants also show much more wear with soiling & perspiration discoloration. "20" appears handwritten on the inside of the waist and there is also a tiny flag tag with "Reebok" on the inside of the belt. The size 30 white pants sport black and red elastic striping alternates down each leg. Embroidered Reebok logo patch is sewn on the front right and the NFL shield logo patch appears on the left. Belt laces and all other elements appear intact and largely as issued.
