Chili Davis played for five teams over his illustrious 19-year MLB career as a switch-hitter, tallying up 350 bombs and racking up three World Series rings (1991,1998, 1999).
This lot offers a 1998 Chili Davis New York Yankees (championship year) game used professional model bat. The Rawling Big Stick (CD44) model bat exhibits outstanding evidence of game use. Many ball marks and stitch impressions can be noticed throughout the barrel. The upper handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to secure a crack as well as a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The model number (CD44), order number (044), and year (98) have all been stamped into the bat knob.
PSA/DNA has given the bat a 8.5 grade. The bat is accompanied by a full PSA/DNA LOA.
