The baseball world was stunned when Boston Red Sox legend Wade Boggs joined the rival New York Yankees in 1993. In 1996 he was able to bring a World Championship to New York, something hed been unable to do in his decade in Beantown. This game used bat was wielded by Wade Boggs during the 1997 season, his last in New York. Boggs hit .292 during the regular season, then exploded in the postseason by hitting .429 against Cleveland in the ALDS. Boggs 1997 Louisville Slugger B349 bat shows awesome game use with many prominent ball marks and scuffs on its barrel along with bat rack paint streaks. A generous portion of pine tar is present on both the center brand area and the handle and Boggs number 12has been handwritten on the knob end in black marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in bold black marker between the center brand and his stamped signature. This B349 has all the things you want to see in a Wade Boggs gamer and PSA/DNA LOA has graded it a perfect GU 10.
