This 10K gold ring with real diamonds traces its roots to a heartbreaking moment for the Cleveland Indians who surrendered the tying run in the bottom of the 9th inning of World Series Game 7 and the walk-off in the 11th to the World Champion Florida Marlins. This ALCS Champions ring 2nd place prize was awarded to a front office worker in Cleveland and presents in Near-Mint condition. "Cleveland American League Champions" runs the perimeter of the ring's face fashioned in the shape of a home plate studded with real diamonds. Left shank features owner's surname (Sumpter) and the logos of the Indians and the World Series. Right shank announces "1997" above an image of Jacobs Field and Chief Wahoo in miniature. Interior band is stamped "10K." Comes in a black felt jewelry box; all elements of the ring appear to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition. Ring size 12. Weight 40 grams.
