Offered here is a 1997-98 Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers official team/game-issued home jersey featuring a nice, large Kobe signature. The provenance of this jersey in the Lakers classic gold is unknown, but its specs are on point with Kobe gamers that have surfaced from his breakout sophomore season, when the 19-year-old increased his scoring average from 7.6 to 15.4 points per game. The Lakers finished second in the Western Conference with a 61-21 record and made the Western Conference Finals. Bryant earned his first NBA All-Star appearance and was runner-up in the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award.
Proper NBA Authentic Nike tagging is found on the left front shirttail in size 46 with +4 length designation, matching Kobe exemplars from his second season. Inside the left front tail behind the wash instructions is the Nike manufacturing year "1997-98" flag tag. “Lakers” across the chest, an arched “BRYANT” sewn directly onto the upper back, and his early uniform No. “8” front and back are all done in purple tackle twill shadowed in white. The collar and armpits are trimmed in white and purple. Kobe has signed his first name with "8" inscribed on the upper torso in 9/10 black marker for great eye appeal. Includes Beckett LOA for the autograph.
